Real Wedding | Nina + Josh | Minneapolis, MN

Winter weddings are so magical, especially around Christmas time! With all the twinkling lights, snowfall, and evergreen decor, it is such a beautiful time of year.  Nina and Josh picked a beautiful day to celebrate!  Nina looked breathtaking in her lace dress paired with the Miss Bliss veil.  And you can tell her new hubby gave the approval too as he is all smiles in the pictures above!  I love how "in love" these two look!  Congrats on your wedding and to many years of love, happiness and laughter!

{Inspiration Board} Navy, Yellow, & Grey

While this nautical color combo is typically used for summer and spring, it surprisingly can work for any season, including fall. The navy sits nicely with the warm tones of autumn, the yellow acts as the accent color, and the grey is a beautiful neutral to throw into the mix. See for yourself!

{Inspiration Board} Pumpkin Spice Latte

It's no secret that with autumn comes all things warm and sweet - hence why the Pumpkin Spice Latte, seasonal treat, is the current best seller at all major and local coffee shops. I apologize if I've just inspired a coffee craving, but first, I encourage you to take a peak at a wedding theme inspired by this autumn special before you run out and pick up your own.

The Pumpkin Spice Latte, what comes to mind when you hear this? Warmth, homeyness, and the colors of the changing leaves? Exactly! Here is a theme that captures all of this loveliness and then some. So grab your honey, share some heaven in a cup, and plan out your fall wedding together.

{Wedding Planning} Top Wedding Day Music Picks!

Planning a wedding is tricky, and more often than not, one of the last elements put together is the music selection. But why is that? Music is one of the most unifying elements of the day - it takes the couple, venue, decorations, guests, food, and the romantically magical moments and ties them all together into one experience. Now for some couples, it's a no-brainer to go with the traditional bridal chorus as the wedding party approaches the alter. Others, may opt for a more personalized experience.

If you don't have your own song or your song is just a little too fast paced for a wedding ceremony - never fear! Here are a few lists for your browsing pleasure, in no particular order, of the most popular wedding day songs for the Processional, Bride Entrance Song (The Wedding Song), Recessional, First Dance, Father Daughter Dance, and Mother Son Dance. {Autumn Weddings} Apple Orchard Wedding Venues

"Autumn", what comes to mind when you see this word? Pumpkins, apple orchards, hot chocolate, brisk nights, warm colors and leaves crunching beneath your feet? I most definitely agree. It's such a magical time of the year, it's no wonder couples find planning a fall wedding so appealing.

Inspiration is literally all around you! Nature hands you an amazing color palette, and there are so many new textures to work with as well. So, as you can imagine, decorating will be quite free flowing from the get go. But what about a venue?

If you and your honey are totally in love with all things autumn, and this is truly your favorite time of the year, why not bring your friends and family together in one of the most autumnal venues ever? An apple orchard!

Apple orchards are quickly becoming some of the most sought out venues for hosting weddings during the fall. It's almost a no-brainer. Not only in terms of visual appeal, but emotional as well. Maybe there's a certain apple orchard that comes to mind right away, whether it was the site of an amazing date, or a cherished family tradition.

So, not only are they beautiful and fit the autumn theme, but they can be one of the most intimate venues.

When it comes to finding the right orchard, it might come off as a daunting task. Especially if you're located in the Midwest, it seems as though there are new apple orchards and pumpkin patches popping up now more than ever.

So how do we choose one?

Each state usually has their own directory of orchards. In Minnesota, we actually have a few --- The Minnesota Department of Agriculture and Explore Minnesota are a couple directory options.

Quite a few orchards actually promote weddings on their own websites. Browse through and get inspired!
